Episode 4 Recap
In this episode, it was portrayed that Nicky and Henry located the puzzle box but it got stolen by a thief. Evan contacted Nicky to explain to her all the past criminal records of Henry and to make her aware that Henry is not a trustable person. Then suddenly when she notices trading a Quing artifact for information some tensions start rising between them. Jin & Mei-Li go for dinner with the family of the fiancee of Althea who wants Athea to sign a prenup before marriage but this led to an argument between Dennis and Althea which created some heat. Also, Ryan and Joe went on a date to an art gallery where Ryan confessed to Joe that he is her first serious boyfriend whom she loves from all her heart. After some time, Henry identifies the thief as Razor and he was a specialist hired by Zhilan in order to get that puzzle box. Nicky challenges Razor for a fight that led to hurt Razor’s ego and when he lost the fight, he returned the box to Nicky and she finally gets to open it and found a scabbard for the Sword of Liang Diayu in it. Razor in turn sends the key and that empty box to Zhilan. Althea and Debbis resolve the issue and finally, Debbie’s family agrees to cancel the prenup. Nicky finally trusts Henry completely and kisses him and finally confesses that she doesn’t care about his past and what all she knows and happy is with his present. Also, Althea confesses to Nicky that she does not have the guts to expose her abuser and with this, the episodes end on a very high note leaving behind some questions for the next episodes.
