The launch of PlayStation 5 is drawing near and near and this is a very unfortunate this because PlayStation had a very large variety of great games on their previous generation of consoles. Fans would have loved to play the old OG games one their new generation of consoles. But on the other hand, Microsoft who is Sony’s biggest competitor has been able to implement near-full backward compatibility that starts from the first- generation of the Xbox on both the Xbox One and the upcoming Xbox Series X. Sony had always kept backward compatibility on their consoles but the reason that they gave isn’t that good and if Microsoft was able to do it Sony can do it as well. Whatever the case may be, Sony has gone in the wrong direction and this isn’t the only thing that has changed as the games that will be made by their own Worldwide Studios titles will be cost US$49.99 to US$69.99 which is a lot of money. This was unveiled in a blog post in which the company revealed the price of the upcoming games. This isn’t that was surprising to many people because many other game publishers have revealed that 69.99 will be the new price for the upcoming games for the new generations of consoles. The launch date titles such as Demon’s Souls remake and Destruction All-Stars will be the first to carry the new price point. On the other hand, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Mile Morales Ultimate Edition another launch day title that acts as an expanded version of Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales which is for $49.99 will be available for $69.99.

But one got thing is that 99% of the games of PlayStation 4 are backward compatible with the PS5. This was revealed by Jim Ryan, who is the boss of Sony PlayStation during an interview with The Washington Post. There isn’t a list of those game that will be available on PlayStation 5 bit PS5 owners will be able to download and play a classic collection of PS4 games with just a PlayStation Plus subscription, including God of War, The Last of Us: Remastered, and Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End.
