The Oval is an American prime time television soap opera that premiers on BET. This series is very famous throughout the country, and it mainly targets the African American audience as the name of the broadcasting channel suggests, BET is Black Entertainment Television. This series is created, directed and written by Tyler Perry. Michelle Sneed, Tyler Perry, and Mark E. Swinton are the executive producers of this series in association with Tyler Perry Productions. Season 1 of this series started on October 23, 2019, and it ended recently on July 22, 2020, and a total of 25 episodes were released in the first season. This season took a break after episode 12 because of some personal reasons which were not revealed by the creators of this series. That’s why it took to long to complete only 25 episodes. When Will The Season 2 of The Oval Release?
We do not have a confirmed release date for the new season 2 of this series, but it is expected it may release at the end of 2020. On April 27, 2020, BET officially announced that they are renewing this series for a new season, which will soon be available for the audience. Also, Tyler Perry announced that the production of this series has started on July 8, 2020, and he is still the creator, director, writer and producer of this series.
