Fans are always head over heels for their idols, and there’s no wonder why. Since the beginning of the new year, 2021 fans have been fed with awesome comebacks to debuts to solo debuts. And fans are loving the new content, which is why the album sales are high. The album sales are basically soaring high in the clouds. There have been awesome albums from (G)I-dle to Treasure to Baekhyun to Iu and many more artists.  Even in the times of digital streaming, album sales are doing quite well. The list is full of different idols, and the first three contribute about 25% of album sales in 2021. Now, let us get into the list in increasing order.

20. NCT 127

Nct 127, on May 19, 2020, had released their best-selling album to date, Neo Zone: The Final Round, selling about 373.0k copies as of April 2021, and contribute 1.3% of the total album sales in 2021 so far.The album has seventeen singles, and the title track is .They’re awesome, aren’t they?

19. VICTON

VICTON, on January 11, 2021, released their first full studio album and highest-selling album to date, Neo Zone: The Final Round. They have sold about 107.8k copies sold as of April 2021 and contribute 1.3% of the total album sales in 2021 so far. WOW

18. Dreamcatcher

Dreamcatcher had sent us to another world, or should I say a dream, with their newest album Dystopia: Road to Utopia, which was released on January 26, 2021, and has sold about 91.3k copies as of April 2021, leading them to contribute about 1.4% of the total album sales in 2021 so far.

17. Kim Wooseok

The talented solo artist had released his ‘delicious to ears’ album ‘Tasty’ on February 8, 2021, and has amazingly sold 93.1k copies as of now in April 2021. His album ‘Tasty’ contributes to 1.4% of the total album sales in 2021 so far.

16. ONEUS

ONEUS released their first studio album, DEVIL, on January 19, 2021, and has sold about 98.5k copies as of April 2021. It contributes about 1.5% of the total album sales in 2021 so far. They have eleven tracklists, and the title track is ‘No Diggity.’ Now that’s what we call talent.

15. Golden Child

Golden Child had released their astounding album on January 25, 2021, and has sold 1.38k copies as of April 2021, and their album contributes to 1.7% of the total album sales in 2021 so far.

14. NCT Dream

NCT dream’s astonishing album ‘We Boom,’ which was released on July 29, 2919, has sold 133.4k copies as of April 2021. Their album has contributed 1.9% of the total album sales in 2021 so far. As always, NCT dreams are rocking it.

13. Cravity

Cravity fed fans with content with their album ‘Season 3. HIDEOUT: Be Our Voice’, which was released on January 19, 2021. The album has sold about 139.9k copies as of April 2021. Their album has contributed 2.1% of the total album sales in 2021 so far.

12. (G)I-dle

(G)I-dle has released their album ‘I Burn,’ in which they mesmerize us with their vocals; they released it on January 11, 2021. It has sold 153.8k copies as of April 2021 and contributes 2.3%  of the total album sales in 2021 so far. (G)I-dle has always known amazed us with their new vocals, and the title track ‘HWAA’ took us by surprise even though we know (G)I-dle has amazing vocals.

11. Shinee

Shinee gave us their splendid album ‘Don’t Call Me’ and had released it on February 22, 2021, and now has sold 178.0k copies. This makes their album contribute 2.7% of the total album sales in 2021 so far. The album has eight tracklists with the title track Don’t Call Me.

10. U-Know

TVXQ’s U-Know’s album Noir which was released on January 18, 2021, and since then has sold 188.0k copies as of April 2021 and contributes 2.8% of the total albums in 2021 so far. U- Know is part of the kpop boy group TVXQ, and his name is Yunho in the group. You go U-Know!

9. WayV

WayV’s album ‘Kick Back’ has been recording the new album sales. It was released on March 10, 2021, and since then has sold 173.9k copies as of April 2021. And, it contributes 2.9% of the total album sales in 2021 so far. Way To Go!

8. Treasure

Treasure, the amazing rookies, released their astonishing album ‘The First Step: Treasure Effect’ on January 12, 2021. It has since then sold 234.7k copies as of April 2021; the album has contributed 3.6% of the total album sales in 2021. For rookies who have just debuted last year, this is a great feat.

7. IU

IU has released a total off-the-page album ‘Lilac’ on March 26, 2021. It has sold 267.8k copies ad has contributed 4.1% of the total albums in 2021 so far. Lilac is her fifth studio album. Many fans, including us, haven’t gotten over her song Celebrity and know we have a whole another album with ten songs and the title track being ‘Lilac.’ She is amazing indeed.

6. Super Junior

Super Junior, earlier this year, on March 16, 2021, had a comeback with their album ‘The Renaissance. This amazing album has sold 307.6k copies of April 2021 and has contributed 4.6% of the total album sales in 2021 so far. The title track ‘House Party’ was praised by WHO for spreading awareness of social distancing in the lyrics. They are true kings.

5. Ateez

Ateez’s recent album ZERO: FEVER Pt2, which was released on March 1, 2021, has sold 321.3k copies as of April 2021. Their album has contributed 4.8% of the total album sales in 2021 so far. The album has seven tracks, and the title track is ‘Fireworks ( I Am The One).

4. NCT

NCT’s album ‘The Resonance Pt 1’, which was released last year on October 12, 2020, has sold 910.8k copies as of April 2021. Their album contributes 5.5% of the total album in 2021 so far. The album has ten tracks, ‘Make A Wish,’ a birthday song.

3. Rosé

The Blackpink member had made her solo debut last month in March. Her album R was released on March 16, 2021, and since then has been breaking records. Rosé’s album has sold 502.4k copies as of April, and the album has contributed 6.8% of the total albums in 2021 so far. She has broken records with her new album. She portrays her struggles in ‘On The Ground’ ad talks about lost love in her solo song ‘Gone.’ In both of the songs, are vocals were on point, and as always, she looked gorgeous.  Go, Queen!

2. Baekhyun

The Exo member has also shown his vocalizing abilities in his new album ‘Bambi,’ which was released on March 30, 2021, and has sold 773.6k copies and has contributed 12.0% of the total album sales in 2021 so far. The title track is Bambi. Baekhyun has blessed us with his sweet honey-like us. Baekhyun, you go, man!

1. BTS

This list would not be complete without the mention of the BTS members. BTS had released their album ‘BE’ last year on November 20, 2020, and has sold 3.10 million, and the album contributes 13.9% of the total album sales. BTS has been breaking records, and we’re not surprised that they are. As we know, BTS are kings of kings.
