Call of Duty: Warzone is a battle royale game that was released last year in the month of March. With the lockdown hitting everyone and people getting bored playing the same battle royale like PUBG and Fortnite, Warzone saw great results and the time of launch was quite perfect. It has had 2 seasons done and now we are moving on to the third season. In season 2, we saw the addition of lots of new maps, characters, and weapons. Season 3 is also expected to have the same impact with one major event happening before it. Let’s have a look at all the things we know so far about Call of Duty Warzone Season 3 like new weapons, operators, maps, and much more.
New Operators
We are going to get 4 new operators in this Call of Duty Warzone Season 3. Well, not all 4 are new technically. 3 are brand new and 1 of them is a revamped version of an old character. The three new operators are Knight, Wraith, and Antonov. All three are members of the Warsaw Pact. Wraith is a retired intelligence Services Warfare specialist agent who used to work in Norway. He has now turned into a Perseus agent. All three characters will be available at Tier 0 of the new battle pass but you would need to grind till level 100 for a legendary skin. Talking about the 4th operator, the 4th one is none other than Captain Price. You would remember him from the Modern Warfare 2019. Captain Price has been modified a bit for Warzone and it is a free character if you have bought Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War.
New Weapons
Yes, we are going to have new weapons and we are going to have 6 of them. The 6 new weapons are
PPSH-41 Swiss K31 Sniper Rifle Ballistic Knife CARV.2 Baseball Bat AMP63 Pistol.
Now talking about their accessibility, PPSH-41 will be available at Tier 15 of your Battle Pass. The Swiss K31 Sniper Rifle doesn’t need you to reach any tier. It has been given to everyone. The Ballistic Knife won’t drop at the start of the season but it is expected to drop halfway through. The CARV.2 rifle is also available to everyone like the K31 Sniper rifle. There is no firm news of the arrival of Baseball Bat and AMP63 Pistol. They are gonna land in the game for sure though.
New Maps
There aren’t new maps for Warzone specifically but there are 4 new additions to Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War though. The 4 maps will be called Diesel, Yamantau, Duga, and Standoff. Yamantau and Diesel are expected to be in the game from the start of the season whereas there is no news yet on the latter 2 maps. Well, even if there aren’t any new maps for Warzone, the nuke event could change everything in that game mode. Nuke event will most probably bring a new map and the new map is rumored to be the Ural mountains.
Zombies
We all know there are zombies in the game already and they are probably going to destroy everything in Verdansk this season. The outbreak mode in the game is going to get a new region called Duga. The addition of the new region means new documents, new secrets, and more zombies to kill. And also, the quest of Requiem and Dark Aether continues too. According to reports, there is also going to be a field upgrade called Toxic Growth. This new upgrade will initiate a group of toxic thorns in front of your character. It will inflict damage on your enemies. You can level up this ability and make it more powerful.
Call of Duty Warzone Season 3 Release Date and More
Coming to the biggest question. The release date. Call of Duty Warzone Season 3 is set to release on 22nd April 2021. It has been confirmed by Activision. Today, i.e April 21, there is a live nuke event in the game and I am sure that you do not want to miss it. Read this to know about the timings of the nuke in your time zone. When is the Nuke Event Happening in Call of Duty: Warzone? The developers aren’t only working on adding new things but they are also working on improving the current state of play by maintaining a fair environment for all the players. They have banned in total more than 500,000 accounts to date who have been caught using some sort of cheating or hacking in the game. So this was pretty much everything you need to know before starting the Call of Duty: Warzone Season 3.
